Hi

Most of the times when opening Maya, Hyperhsade´s interface is totally empty ,the only thing that displays is the main menu. One workaround is to source the "HypershadePanel.mel" from Maya then it loads the interface correctly.

Does anybody know why this is happening ?

Thanks, Alex.

I don't think that's normal. You should at least see the three default shader nodes... lambert particleCloud and shaderGlow. Have you tried removing the prefs directory and restarting?

Seen it happen plenty of times with the (old school) multi-lister on PC/Windows setup (not Linux) although not via the hypershade. You need a CG excorcist ;)

The script you mentioned is probably not getting sourced correctly at startup or probably there are some clashes with another startup script. Have you tried reinstalling? Maybe some plugin or custom shader you installed lately caused this?
