Why did Maya deem it necessary to change the function of something that wasn't broken? Anyways, I can't change my key tangents. I select the tangent and try to move it and it doesn't move. I've tried locking and unlocking tangents. And nothing moves.

It seems to be something in the scene I’ve inherited. I can’t select translate curves in that scene. In a new scene, I’m able to work as always. I only have a referenced file in the original scene file and the object that I’m trying to adjust is not part of that reference. It’s a new object I made in the scene. I’ll just try to create a new scene and recreate the reference.
