What's your question?

By: [ Admin ] Asked from India

What issues should be raised at the VFX Town Hall meeting on 29th March.

Later this month is the first VFX Town Hall online discussion with panelists Chris deFaria, Jeff Okun and Scott Ross. At the evenbrite site it says It's an open disccusion of a visual effects industry in transition. and seems to be focusing on quality of life issues. Unfortunately, it was sold out pretty quickly. Maybe you got a place .. I didn't, I got there too late.

So the question arises, how can those of us with no place at the event contribute to the discussion?

How about you post some questions or issues here at vfxoverflow and tag them vfx-town-hall. Meanwhile I'll try to find someone who got a place at the event who can point the panelists to this link:

http://www.vfxoverflow.com/questions/tagged?tagnames=vfx-town-hall&sort=votes

It will display the town-hall questions sorted by votes. So please vote up questions you think are really important. Check back regularly through the week, and pass the link to this page to anyone you know who might have something to say.

Remember, post your questions as new questions (not answers to this question) and tag with vfx-town-hall.

It’s a bit of a shame that this is being held in the evening US-time, meaning that it’s on in the very early hours of the morning for those of us in Europe…
